Family Photo Shoot on my Birthday

We went out in the back yard this afternoon to try and take a picture of our family. I decided we don't take enough pictures of our whole family so I wanted to commemorate my 30th birthday with a mini-shoot. We didn't really have high expectations for it...we were using the timer on the camera and we have three young children. That we got a couple with them all looking at the camera is a feat in itself! We were also just "as is." Nobody really had their hair done, no makeup, no dressy clothes, etc. But maybe now that we know we can do it, we will try to do a fancy one.

  1. Susan- I love these! The best part is that they are "as is". I think you will really treasure these pics of your beautiful family, as you really looked at this point in time. I also might have to steal your "photo booth" idea from Aaron's party- LOVE that!

  2. I love these!!!! Truly captures the love your family has for each other! Who cares about fancy or matching or hair done....these are the BEST ones, b/c they capture how you are day-to-day and the most important part is showing how much you love each other!!! THe "fancy" ones are nice too but that's usually when the munchkins don't cooperate...they're uncomfortable so they're cranky/moody and you don't get cute ones!

And I LOVE BATMAN cheesin in the back! hehe You're kiddos are too cute and precious!
